Origin & Popularity: Purple Haze gets its name from the well-known song by Jimi Hendrix and its purple
flowers. Purple Haze is not only known for its purple colour, but also an abundance of
white trichomes (small resin secreting stalks/hairs) and high potency. In general, the
original 100% Sativa Purple Haze is considered a myth, all cannabis strains are said to
be able to develop purple flowers under optimal conditions. Our beautiful Purple Haze
Haze is a cross between different Haze strains and an Afghan Indica, as a result of
which the flowering period is shortened to 8 to 9 weeks. It has the thick resin
production of an Indica, but the rising high of a Sativa. Purple Haze consists of 60%
Sativa and 40% Indica.
Production: Purple Haze is not difficult to grow, whether you do it indoors or outdoors. The Dutch
climate is excellent for Purple Haze, as it is accustomed to blooming in the cold. It is
precisely these cold temperatures that give it its beautiful dark green, purple and
lavender buds. Colour-wise, Purple Haze is an exception, because it is much darker than
most Sativas. The plants do not grow very high, but do become very beautiful, with long,
running buds that are covered with sticky white trichomes. Despite the fact that the
plant itself does not grow very tall, its yield is high. The flowering time is 8 to 9 weeks.
Character & Flavour: Purple Haze has a subtle scent during growth, which is much stronger and richer when
the buds are harvested and dried. The fragrance is woody with light notes of mint. The
flavour is woody, sandalwood to be exact, but also sweet as grapes. Purple Haze gives a
very strong Sativa high, which quickly comes up and lasts long. I feel extremely happy
after smoking Purple Haze. I feel the love of people flowing through my body and I can
feel the music. It is also good for my creativity, especially musically. I regularly smoke
Purple Haze when having a good time jamming with friends. In the medicinal field
Purple Haze is used to treat pain, stress and anxiety.
